Atelier No. 08 is the new home of a small design consultancy in Amsterdam. The team wanted a workplace that felt closer to a studio than an office, with room to spread out materials, host clients, and concentrate without interruption. We shaped the plan around one long worktable, a library wall, and a quieter rear room for calls and deep work. The palette is warm and tactile, with a few expressive details that reflect the team.

The Brief

The previous office was open but noisy, with little space to review physical samples or meet clients. The team needed zones that could adapt through the week without constant rearranging.

The Approach

We organised the space in three gradients of activity, from social at the entrance to focused at the rear. Movable shelving, acoustic textiles, and a central oak table give the team flexibility, while deep colour accents and handmade lighting keep the atmosphere personal.
